Rockspring Property Investment Managers (“Rockspring”) is pleased to announce that Paris-Oise Logistics Park (the “Park”), an asset it manages, was recently awarded the HQE™- Exploitation label, the French equivalent to BREEAM In-Use, for its improved levels of operational efficiency and sustainability. This is the first time that a logistics park in France has received the certification and marks an important milestone for Rockspring in its efforts to improve the ESG credentials of its property portfolio.
Rockspring purchased the Park, which comprises 142,313 sqm of high quality logistics space, on behalf of its TransEuropean V fund in December 2012 for €78 million. Since acquiring the property, Rockspring’s specialist asset management team has implemented a number of initiatives to improve its sustainability credentials. These include improving energy efficiency through brand new automated maintenance systems and waste management monitoring, completing a high-quality re-roofing of all the warehouses, and employing a strict monitoring policy in partnership with all tenants and suppliers to promote a ‘green’ business environment.
The Paris-Oise Logistics Park is located in Longueil Sainte Marie, 45 minutes north of Paris, and offers high-quality warehouse space on the main arterial A1 highway in a thriving business district. It is fully let to eight tenants, including DHL and STOKOMANI.
