Aberdeen Asset Management has strengthened its Emerging Market Debt team with the addition of Debora Confortini as a credit analyst. Based in São Paulo, Brazil, Debora will work within Aberdeen’s 13-strong EMD team, focusing on credit research. She has joined from Standard & Poor’s Ratings Service where she was a ratings specialist focusing on Latin American companies. She graduated with a BA in Accounting & Finance from the University of São Paulo. Aberdeen is an established and leading manager of emerging market debt with clients located around the world. The team manages over US$7.7 billion, some US$750 million of which is invested in corporate bonds.
